Well here we go again, strating a new blog, let's see if I can keep it up to date

Phew! that's my 40th birthday over and done with. Had a really great tiem, saw all my family (got some wonderful presents - thanks guys) and kissed goodbye to my thirties. My amazing wife went to a lot of trouble, and I never knew she could keep so many secrets - got my eye on you now! I also learned how gullible I could be, which made the surprises special, and me feel a bit simple! We're off to London this weekend for a much needed break, just the two of us, Nana Splash is going to have Jack for the night, and I think she's also looking after charlotte and melissa (again!) so it will be mayhem.

Just got back from a wonderful break with Jo and Jack in North Wales. Went to portmeirion where the original 'The Prisoner' was shot - I've been wanting to go for years and wasn't dissapointed, it really is a remarkable place and I would recommend it to anyone. I also got an early surpise birthday present in a stadium tour of Anfield - the home of Liverpool football club. YNWA
